Ventura IPSSA Chapter Standing Rules

Attendance

    Voluntary as long as a quorum is met. Policy will be re-evaluated if two consecutive meetings lack a quorum.

Meeting

    3rd Tuesday of each month; dinner - 6PM - sponsored by Chapter. business meeting 7 PM. Format: Educational portion followed by Chapter business.

Membership

    To be eligible a member must have one of the following CPO, NSPI tech I, LA County cert. One year experience verified by member sponsor or proof of pool service business insurance. Return members requesting re-instatement in good standing within a year will wave 3 month waiting period.

Elections

    Odd years in November. If no quorum in November or a board is not elected a mandatory election meeting will be held in December.

Fines

    Chapter has no fines. Members are removed from the Chapter for violation of sick route or standing rules.

Standing Committees

    New members, sick route, special events, president, advisory, New members are encouraged to participate on a committee within two years of joining.

Education

    $500 a quarter. If money is not used there will be no rollovers. IPSSA chapter will sponsor 1 class every other year.
